摘要
The Lattice Boltzmann Models for hydrodynamics simulations are presented. These models are based on fundamental conservation laws and can easily treat complex boundary conditions and interfaces. The lattice Bhatnagar-Gross-Krook model (lattice BGK) model is suited for the study of multiphase flows, and has great flexibility in handling the complicated thermal multiphase flows and nonlinear reaction diffusion systems. In addition, it has the advantage that generalization to higher dimensions is straightforward. By implementing the lattice BGK model on massively parallel computers, the understanding of physics for the complex problem area can be improved. One advantage of lattice method is that boundary conditions can be easily incorporated. The non-slip boundary condition can be realized by bouncing--back collisions while the slip boundary condition can be achieved by specular reflections. The lattice BGK model is also flexible enough to consider moving boundary conditions and wettability treatment in the multiphase case as well as heat transfer between the fluids and a solid wall.
