摘要
The frequency bands that should be supported by mobile devices have increased significantly by the advent of the fourth generation (4G) of cellular communications. Therefore, the design of RF transmitter/receiver modules (including antennas) of the mobile devices should take this requirement in consideration. In this paper we discuss the effect of Planar Inverted F-Antenna (PIFA) dimensions on its resonance frequency, and the frequency bands supported by PIFA. Consequently, we come up with an empirical equation that describes this relationship.
