摘要
The article analyzes the effects of two methods of chemical treatment by chlorination, of untreated water for obtaining drinking water in accordance with European legislation on water quality. The methods provide the effectiveness of disinfection with relatively low costs and energy consumption. There were analyzed comparative variations of treated versus untreated water parameters (turbidity, color, pH, conductivity) for a total of 19 samples collected in December for the years 2008 - 2011 and in January 2012. Although disinfection method used at Resita water treatment station is efficient and applied successfully in other European countries due to of its advantages, it is necessary that dosage equipment to be adjusted for all dosage levels. The monitoring results, so far, are encouraging, although laboratory results still not indicate hitting the maximum efficiency of water treatment for disinfection. dosage.
