摘要：

Die beim diabetischen Fußsyndrom am häufigsten benutzte Klassifikation nach Wagner umfaßt 5 Stadien zwischen dem Stadium 0, Risikofuß ohne Läsionen, bis zum Stadium V, Nekrose des gesamten Fußes. In einer anderen Einteilung nach Armstrong in 4 Stadien werden zusätzlich zu den pathomorphologischen Veränderungen noch Ischämie und Infektion berücksichtigt. Eine korrekte Klassifikation und Dokumentation ist die Voraussetzung der klinischen Diagnostik und einer erfolgversprechenden Behandlung.
