摘要：

This paper traces the development of Chinese industry specialized universities from historical perspective. A critical review of the contemporary realities combined with future challenges reveals a number of strengths and weakness. It primarily aims to provide evidence to find effective solution to the problems CISU are facing. Based on its historical development background, rationale and motivations behind their chosen internationalization activities are also addressed to underpin the appropriate strategic responses.
