摘要
The temperature and concentration dependences of viscosity for the liquid alloys of Co100-xSix (0 <= x <= 54 at.%) and Co75Si25-yBy (0 <= y <= 25 at.%) systems are experimentally studied in this paper. In all the cases the temperature dependences of viscosity within the heating and cooling regimes coincide and are well described by an exponential Arrhenius equation. For the binary Co-Si system the concentration-viscosity dependences are in the form of a nonmonotonous dome with the maxima at 30-40% silicon content. The viscosity isotherms of a quasi-binary Co75Si25-Co75B25 system take the form of monotonous dependences and are close to the additive sum of viscosity values for binary Co-75-Si-25 and Co75B25 systems. To calculate the concentration dependences of Co-Si, Co-B and Co-75-Si-25-Co-75-B-25 viscosities fifteen equations were involved based on the thermodynamic properties of liquid alloy and/or physical properties of its components. The best agreement with the experimental data for the viscosity of the liquid Co-B-Si alloy is observed when the Kozlov-Romanov-Petrov equation is used. (C) 2019 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
