摘要
This paper presents the development of a switch-mode rectifier (SMR) fed switched-reluctance motor (SRM) drive with battery energy storage support. First, the SRM drive and its three-phase full-bridge boost SMR front-end are constructed. With bidirectional power flow capability and power factor corrected function, the SMR can not only power the SRM drive with good performance, but also can send the regenerative braking energy back to the mains. For the developed battery isolated interface converter, the one-stage schematic is constructed using a dual active bridge (DAB) converter followed by an energy storage inductor. Through proper arrangement and control, the discharging boost and charging buck operation modes can all be normally conducted with satisfactory performances. Finally, some measured results are presented to evaluate the developed SRM drive.
