摘要
Personal daily travel safety has received increasing attention in recent years. This paper aims at using smartphone accelerometer to recognize human activities, especially up and down buses. By using Matlab and Weka software platform and smart phone accelerometer, we verified the feasibility of using phone accelerometer to identify activities with a high accuracy. It can reach to 95.3% when using KNN classifier. This fruitful work gives explanation of using public resources to deal with personal daily travel safety, and can benefit from low power consumption.
