摘要
This work discusses the rich nonlinear dynamics and chaos control in a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) system. Complex nonlinear behaviors are observed over a range of parameter values in the bifurcation diagram. The Lyapunov exponent approach is utilized to identify the onset of chaotic motion and to verify the above analyses. Finally, an approach for effectively controlling a chaotic PMSM system is presented. Simulation results are presented to demonstrate the feasibility of the developed approach.
