摘要
A CPW-fed fractal monopole antenna using the design of a leaf and leaflet is proposed for achieving multiple resonance for multiband applications. The defected ground structure (DGS) is also introduced in the design for gaining better antenna parameters. The use of fractal geometry concept improved the number of resonant frequencies and enhanced the antenna parameters further. The proposed antenna is simulated using IE3D Mentor Graphics with Method of Moments (MoM) based tool. The proposed antenna is useful for space communication applications.
