摘要：

A phenomenon of cryptography and how one can scientifically justify a cryptographic scheme's security are studied. Popular blockciphers include the old data encryption standard (DES) and the new advanced encryption standard (AES). An equivalent, but simpler, notion of security is indistinguishability of encryption. The field of provable security is the combination of three steps: security definition, scheme, and proof of security.
