Pulsed UV excitation of biological structures

摘要
The conditions for excitation of biological structures are analyzed. Experimental study of the structures illuminated by a short-wavelength (271.2 nm) pulsed-periodic laser radiation is carried out. The secondary radiation obtained in this case is connected to a resonance photoluminescence of chromophores of DNA molecules. It is shown that the radiation spectrum of bacteria subjected to hard UV radiation noticeably differs from that of live microorganisms excited by UV radiation of moderate wavelength range.
