New Design of Delay Line Based on Slow-Wave Structure

摘要
A design of broadband slow-wave structure worked in X-band is proposed in this paper, which can be applied to delay line. Miniaturized structure is realized by special layout such as Electron Band Gap (EBG) and meander line. The impact of the structure parameters on the performance of slow-wave is analyzed by electromagnetic simulation software named CST. In contrast to conventional layout forms, we obtained delay efficiency up to 240%, port reflect coefficient is less than -25dB and phase linearity in band is less than 6 degrees.
