摘要
Solid-state ammonium ion sensors based on photocured poly(n-butyl acrylate) membrane with immobilised nonactin is successfully used for the determination of ammonium ion. The sensor membrane does not require any plasticiser and gives Nernstian response (57-58 mV per decade) throughout the ammonium ion concentration range of 10(-1) to 10(-5) M with detection limits approaching 10(-6) M ammonium ion. The sensor also demonstrates good reproducibility (R.S.D. 2-4%, n = 15) and satisfactory selectivity with improved selectivity coefficients for sodium, lithium, calcium and magnesium over other ammonium sensors fabricated by similar photocuring technique. The ammonium ion sensor has potential application in the analysis of ammonium and ammonia in sewage samples. (C) 2003 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
