摘要
A novel iron-based metal-organic framework (MOF), possessing high surface area and good catalytic activity, was proposed as a heterogeneous catalyst for degrading high concentration of oily wastewater. The obtained results showed that MOF-based catalysts MIL-100 (Fe) present good catalytic activity. Chemical oxygen demand (COD) removal increases by nearly 18% when 400 mg catalyst is added. The structure and morphology of the catalyst under different cycling runs show that the catalyst is stable under such operating conditions and the leaching tests show low leaching effect.
