摘要
The removal of NO by oxidation on nitrogen doped activated carbon is addressed in the present work. The activated carbons were subjected to appropriate treatments in order to modify their surface chemistry (introduction of nitrogen or oxygen containing groups). The use of carbon materials with nitrogen improves the rate of NO oxidation. Among all the prepared materials, activated carbons treated with nitric add and melamine were the most efficient for NO oxidation, with a conversion of 88%. (c) 2012 Elsevier B.V.
