Optimizing the location-aided routing protocol in mobile ad hoc networks

摘要
By introducing real-time moving speed and direction into nodes' location information and providing with more ways to enhance the location exchange, we modify the two schemes of the location-aided routing protocol and integrate them into one algorithm. The request zone defined in the protocol is narrowed and unnecessary flooding is avoided. Simulation results show that the modifications can reduce routing overhead and improve end-to-end packet delivery ratio with a little smaller end-to-end delay.
