摘要
A method was developed to enhance the efficiency of white polymer light emitting devices (WPLEDs) by introducing an electron injection and hole-blocking layer, and using a polymer blend system as the active material. WPLEDs can be realized by the incomplete transfer of energy from poly(9,9-dioctylfluorene) (PFO) to poly[2-methoxy-5-(2'-ethyl-hexyloxy)-1,4-phenylene vinylene] (MEH-PPV), and the color was modulated from yellow to white by changing the concentration of MEH-PPV. The device shows improved performance and highest power efficiency of 16 lm W-1. The method can also be used to achieve ultrahigh efficient polymer LEDs.
