Two new Preussia species defined based on morphological and molecular evidence

摘要
Two new Preussia species from plant debris and coprophilous substrata are described and illustrated based on molecular and morphological data. Preussia africana was isolated from Canary Islands, South Africa and Tanzania and Preussia isobellae from Puerto Rico. Morphologically Preussia africana resembled P. australis and P. minimoides. Prelissia isabellae was related to P. minima. Parsimony analysis of the ITS1-5.8S-ITS2 region, the 5' end of the 28S rRNA gene and a fragment of the translation elongation factor la gene, supported the recognition of these fungi as new species.
