摘要
Taking into consideration the sag of overhead lines (OHL), the conductor within the span is always longer than the span itself. This way the conductor length calculation has an importance when constructing overhead lines. The current paper shows the mentioned calculation in the case when the conductor curve in a span is considered as a catenary. Correspondingly the universal formula for the conductor length calculation has been derived, which is applicable in inclined and level spans as well, in both full span and arbitrarily selected span-part. The use of the new formula is presented in a practical example.
