Communications skills for the practicing professional

ASHRAE is a society that communicates knowledge through publications, educational programs, standards, oral presentations and networking. Yet with the exception of a few, it is very seldom that it is attempted to improve the process by which ideas, concepts or new knowledge are used. As such, numerous resources are available to improve communication skills ranging from Toastmasters International to commercial seminars. This paper presents some simple tips that communication professionals had shared.
