摘要
Carbon dioxide emissions have become a huge and continuing threat to climate, the amount of which is increasing largely, with power plants being the major contributor. Biomass provides a carbon-neutral source of power and the mature biomass and coal co-firing technology has been widely used in power plants. In this paper, from the perspective of the power plants, a multi-objective biomass and coal co-firing model is established that considers the conflicts between economic development and environmental protection to achieve sustainable development and cleaner production. The proposed methodological approach is then applied to Linyi power plant in Shangdong Province to demonstrate its practically and efficiency. The results of the multi-objective model are received using Lingo. Results under different scenarios are acquire and analyzed. Based on the discussions, some important conclusions are proposed to deal with the conflict between the economy and the environment in order to achieve sustainable development and cleaner production.
