Influence of gas inertia on the harmonic characteristics of vibration suspensions

We consider the harmonic in time characteristics of viscous compressible gas flow obtained when solving the linearized system of the Navier-Stokes equations. ne solutions for a gas layer which include the inner region and the region of a boundary layer were found using the Fourier method. We compared inertia and inertialess approaches for the calculations of the boundary layer sizes. We considered the dynamics of solutions at different values of the Reynolds number, relative clearance and compression parameter.
