摘要
A double-layer dielectric-only transmitarray antenna working at 250 GHz is presented in this paper. Different from common transmitarray using three or four substrate layers with metal patch etched on the surface, no metal is used in the proposed element and only high-resistivity silicon is adopted to form the structure. The proposed sub-wavelength element is composed of cuboid and cylinder structure. The diameter of the cylinder is used to control the transmission phase and a phase range of over 360. with low transmission loss is achieved. The transmitarray consisting 225 elements is designed based on the proposed elements. The simulation result show good performance with the gain of 21.2 dB and aperture efficiency of 42% at center frequency.
