摘要
In this study, multiwall carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) were melt blended with PC (Polycarbonate)/SAN [poly (Styrene-co-Acrylonitrile)] blend. According to the TEM micrograph, prepared nanocomposite showed a co-continuous morphology with selective localization of MWCNTs in the PC phase. The DC electric conductivity results showed that the electrical percolation threshold is achieved at a low MWCNTs content, 0.32 wt.%. The microwave measurements in X-band frequency range demonstrated that a very good shielding performance mostly through absorption of electromagnetic waves is achieved at a very low content of nanofiller.
