摘要
This paper contributes to the entrepreneurial team formation literature by applying the Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB) to predict entrepreneurial team formation intentionality. Adopting the Skills Brokerage Business Model as a framework facilitating entrepreneurial team formation, this paper conceptualises skills investment intentions prior to entrepreneurial team formation as the intention to investment various forms of capital in a new or already identified venture. Using a sample of 401 individuals, the relationship between the TPB antecedents and intention are examined. Our findings suggest that skills investment subjective norms and behavioural control are positively related to skills investment intentions. This study provides partial support to the application of the TPB on an entrepreneurial team formation context and contributes to our understanding of entrepreneurial team formation intentionality, by validating the factors affecting intentions.
