摘要
Two typical cases, ultrafast dissociation of the SF(6) molecule following F 1s excitation and complete atomization of the BF(3) molecule following F 1s core-hole creation and are described. High resolution resonant Auger electron spectroscopy is used for SF(6), whereas a multiple-ion coincidence momentum imaging is applied to BF(3). It is shown that both measurements allow a direct characterization of the asymmetric nuclear motion which follows the electronic excitation.
