摘要
Smart hydrophobic surface modified interface photocatalysts (TiO2@@SiO2-O3SiC18H37) were designed to float on the surface of a pollutant solution. The photocatalytic activity of the interface photocatalysts was evaluated by photodecomposition of Rhodamine B under UV light irradiation. The results indicated that compared with untreated nanoparticles (TiO2@@SiO2), the interface photocatalysts catalyze the photodecomposition continuously and effectively. The mechanism of the interfacial photodecomposition is discussed. (C) 2013 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
