This paper is concerned with the stabilization problem of an unstable non-minimum phase (NMP) plant controlled over a signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) constrained channel with bandwidth limitation. In the considered control structure, communication channel connects a dynamic output feedback controller to the single-input single-output plant. Using a novel description of SNR, the effect of the channel's NMP zeros on the minimum SNR required for stabilizability is investigated for the first time. It is indicated that in the presence of an NMP bandwidth-limited channel, compared with a minimum phase channel with infinite bandwidth, greater SNR is required to guarantee the stabilizability of the closed-loop system. The results are verified through two numerical examples.
