摘要
Raw material production of new species with pharmacologically and nutritionally relevant substances requires as well the development of an effective propagation technique for large scale field production. In this study the possibility of propagating Artemisia glabella by shoot tip cuttings or by stem section cuttings was analyzed. The influence of long and short day, temperature, substrate for propagation and propagation conditions was investigated. In our studies adventitious root formation started after eight days under long day conditions and after eleven days under short day conditions. Using four to five cm long shoot tip and stem section cuttings of Artemisia glabella, transplanting material could be produced within six weeks under long day conditions and eight weeks under short day conditions.
