摘要：

The Institute of Agricultural and Environmental Engineering (IMAG-DLO) and UNIFORM Agri have started a joint research project to investigate the prospects of data mining to obtain additional information from the combined data of individual dairy farms. The project consists of three phases: 1) the formulation of questions on farm management, results, 2) the collection and handling of data, and 3) the search for 'new' information and knowledge that is hidden in the data (the data mining process). This paper gives an overview of the project and some preliminary results.
