摘要
Developmental prosopagnosia (DP) refers to face recognition deficits in the absence of brain damage. DP affects similar to 2% of the population, and it often runs in families. DP studies have made considerable progress in identifying the cognitive and neural characteristics of the disorder. A key challenge is to develop a valid taxonomy of DP that will facilitate many aspects of research.
