Surfactant-templated synthesis of 1D single-crystalline polymer nanostructures

摘要
The synthesis of single-crystalline poly(furfuryl alocohol) (PFA) nanostructures using a surfactant-templated polymerization method was investigated. It was shown that surfactant-templated synthesis and assembly can be used efficiently to generate unique polymeric nanomaterials and organized planar structures. It was observed that each building block of the 1D single-crystalline PFA nanowire contains 8-10 FA units, varying terminal groups of either furan rings or aliphatic periods. The results show that the thermal stability of the PFA nanostructure is lower than 300°C.
