Thyroid metastasis of prostate cancer as a rare entity detected by 68Ga-PSMA PET/CT

摘要：

Extremely rare cases of thyroid metastasis from prostate cancer (PC) have been reported in the literature. This patient demonstrated an unusual thyroid metastasis from PC detected by 68Ga-prostate-specific membrane antigen-11 (68Ga-PSMA) PET/CT and confirmed with histopathologically. Three months after treatment, a 68Ga-PSMA scan to assess treatment response showed partial regression of skeletal metastases and complete regression of soft tissue metastases, including PC, nodal metastases, and thyroid gland.
