摘要：

Drowning incidents with children are dramatic situations. They are often accompanied by hypothermia. We report on two children who broke through an ice-covering and required cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Although the outcome was fatal for both children, an organ donation could be performed. In this case report we comment on important therapeutic standards in relation to the diagnosis of hypothermia and drowning.
