摘要
One-minute tropospheric scintillation data recorded in Philippines over 3 years have been collected for analysis using a Superbird C Satellite (144A degrees E) at 12.2 GHz with an antenna elevation angle of 58.8A degrees. The results obtained from the analysis of seasonal variations and different tropospheric scintillation models proposed by various authors have been presented in this paper. Considerable differences between measured data and models have been observed at different percentages of time. The comparisons have been performed for both Northeast and Southwest monsoon seasons. Karasawa model gives the lowest root mean square error (3 %) compared to the other models.
