摘要：

Discrete-event simulation is an important method to evaluate and improve business processes. The key issue for business process simulation is to establish simulation-oriented models. An IDEF3-based simulation modeling method and the relevant software tool EasyIDEF3 (TM) are introduced. With the support of this method, the simulation information can be collected and described in a formalized way, and the description is based on the communication and comprehension oriented IDEF3 method. Thus, it can help the modeler to create business process simulation models more easily and efficiently.
