摘要
Three-dimensional four- and six-state chiral clock models were investigated by Monte Carlo simulation. For values of the chiral parameter Delta near 0.50 results were consistent with those obtained from other theoretical approaches. However, for Delta near 0.20 the four-state model exhibited planar spin patterns not previously predicted. In both models the transitions from the ferromagnetic state are first order for Delta greater than about 0.10.
