摘要
The potato crop is very important in the Venezuelan Andes region. Developmental models for resource allocation in plants predict that increasing the self-fertilization might favor a decrease in grain size, as a result of a reduced allocation function and structures of male attraction. To get more information on the floral biology of two potato, two treatments were established with the varieties Dorinia and Marilinia at the Experimental Field La Cristalina, Trujillo state, under a randomized split plot design, evaluating the flowering density and the floral biology. Biomass relationships between functions showed a higher floral male allocation function regarding the female. The blooming period was 60 days after sowing.
