摘要
We present the results of laboratory experiments, in which the regularities of shear deformation of thin granular layers were studied by an acoustic emission method. In the course of evolution of the interblock contact filled with a granular material, internal dynamic processes are manifested in the formation of high-frequency elastic waves. Quantitative and qualitative changes of acoustic emission parameters allow us to judge internal dynamic processes, which take place in a thin granular layer of the interblock contact. The findings indicate that a process of contact weakening is governed by processes of thin granular layer self-organization.
