摘要
For a long time, there has been no complete planning for English education in Chinese universities. The limitations of the Chinese education system have greatly hindered the development of the English teaching system. English teaching in China is mainly based on rote memorization. English translation also has fixed templates and formulas, ignoring the essence of language teaching and forming an embarrassing situation in which students can only write and recite but cannot listen to and speak English. This greatly limits the creativity and inspiration of students' language learning, not to mention the learning and experience of foreign culture. Based on this teaching situation, this paper analyzes the development strategies of cross-cultural ecological education in college English translation teaching. This paper first expounds the value of cross-cultural ecological education, then explains the problems in English translation teaching, and finally describes the method of cross-cultural ecological education in English translation teaching, and enhances the awareness of teachers and students on cross-cultural ecological education; it is necessary to accelerate education reform, reform educational content, improve education methods, and strengthen student autonomy.
