摘要
Complexes having formula of type [ML2]center dot nH(2)O (where M = Cu(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Zn(II) Cd(II)) and [CuLCl(H2O)](2) were synthesized where L is the Schiff base formed by the condensation 1-H-indole-2,3-dione with the o-aminobenzylic alcohol. The ligand and the complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, IR, UV-Vis-NIR, RPE, H-1 NMR and C-13 NMR spectroscopy, magnetic susceptibilities and molar conductivity measurements, antibacterial activity and thermal analysis. The ligand acts in his enolic form, as a monoanionic tridentate.
