摘要
Peak Demands are the foremost problems in today's electricity sector as thirst for power consumption proliferates whereas the peak demand makes it difficult to meet the increased demand of electricity. This paper focuses on autonomous peak demand management through GSM based intelligent monitoring system. In this automated system real time data acquisition of daily power consumption has been connected to base station through GSM network for suspending maximum peak demand. This proposed intellectual system has been demonstrated on a model which is designed for a maximum peak demand of 500W. The intended scheme will be contributing towards its expansion of application in smart grid environment.
