摘要
The paper presents an experimental investigation into the effect of blade section on the performance of the Wells turbine. The blades tested Included one set of eight symmetrical constant chord NACA 0015 blades, one set of eight symmetrical optimised blades and two rotor solidities. The aim of the experiments was to validate predictive work which indicated that optimisation of the blade profiles could significantly delay the onset of separation.
