Study on Assessment Indicator System of New Urbanization in China

Urbanization is the main symbol to measure the development level of a country. This paper maintains that new urbanization with new industrialization as internal impetus impels the comprehensive and harmonious urbanization development of regional population, society, economy, resource, and environment and pays more attention to balanced development between regions, overall urban-rural development, industry support, urbanization quality, and sustainable development. This paper aims to establish indicator system of new urbanization by analyzing the connotation of urbanization and applying systemic methodology to measure new urbanization and reflect the level of urbanization comprehensively, objectively and scientifically.
