摘要
This work was done to determine whether bonding temperatures of yttria stabilized zirconia polycrystals using nanocrystals could be reduced. From the studies, it is found out that the bonding is the result of the grain rotation that accompanies grain boundary sliding. The superplastic flow has the potential to produce strong joints in a temperature lower than the 2000 C being reported in the previous studies.
