Analysis of the clonal relationship of shiga toxin-producing Escherichia coli serogroup O165: H25 isolated from cattle

摘要
Variations in time and space of a clonal group of Escherichia coli 0165:1125 on a cattle farm were monitored. The virulence marker pattern (stx genes, eae gene, hly(EHEC) gene, katP gene, espP gene, efa gene) suggests that E. coli O165:H25 of bovine origin may represent a risk for human infection.
