An intellectual property right protection scheme for digital images using Support Vector Machines

Due to the rapid growth of the Internet, digital data have become very easy to access and duplicate today. As a result, intellectual property right protection has become an important issue. Watermarking is one of the methods to solve this problem. In this paper, we shall propose a modem digital watermarking scheme to be run in the frequency domain converted with Discrete Wavelet Transform; at the same time, we shall also exploit the outstanding generalization ability of Support Vector Machines (SVM's) to improve the robustness of the proposed watermarking system.
