摘要
The work is intended to clarify complex interactions and various influencing parameters on the material behavior of deep-frozen bulk solids. The results should ensure a better evaluation of the material behavior in practical applications. Hard coal, iron ore and sand have been selected as material samples, and cube shaped samples saturated with water have been deep-frozen over a defined period. Subsequently, uniaxial compression tests have been carried out, whereby the influence of residence time in the freezer and particle size on the mechanical behavior have been analyzed.
