摘要
Nowadays multilevel inverters are promising as a new breed in high/medium voltage and power applications. Number of modulation techniques is available for controlling the multilevel inverter but multi-carrier pulse width modulation (MCPWM) techniques are frequently used due to its simplicity and easy implementation. In this paper simplified simulation modeling of various MCPWM techniques are proposed for n level generation. The proposed modulation techniques are explained for 5-level cascaded H-Bridge (CHB). The simulation of the modulation techniques is set up in MATLAB/Simulink and to prove the feasibility of the schemes, same results are validated experimentally.
